1995 Woodmizer LT-40

For sale is a 1995 Woodmizer LT-40 Sawmill. This mill was restored by Woodmizer Carolina in 2021. It has a Honda GX690 engine with 257 hrs. It runs great and gets run regularly. (I have three sawmills, and this has been my backup for when I get a big order). It has always been stored under cover. New parts includes: tires, axle, hydraulic pump, blade guides and rollers, tanks, alternator, belts, etc. Negatives are trailer lights and brakes don’t work; toe boards have to be pressed down after use; one side support is clamped not bolted to frame; it has a bent tip on loader arm. Comes with 30 sharpened blades ready to use, backup alternator, and aftermarket magnetic trailer light package. Selling because I ordered an LT-50 in January 2022 and it’s set to arrive in August. Max length is 20’6” and max width is 24”.

I’ve been running LT-40s for over a decade, and I love this machine. The Honda GX690 engine has an independent throttle so you can crank up the engine for full power during use. In my experience, this results in more consistent power through dense woods and less wavy cuts. I like this engine better than the Onan that I had on a 1992 and the Linamar that came on this machine.
